A truly magnificent cake for a spectacular wedding. This design sits well in a traditional grand ballroom but also gracing an asian style celebration. Classic but with a modern edge the design was partly inspired by an old Balmain collection.
A pure white cake with texture to add depth and shadow, and finished with intricate ‘beading’ made up of hundreds of hand placed edible pearls and dragees. The beads come in different shades and sizes to add to the complexity of the design. The design of the beading and gold plaques can be tweaked to suit your occasion. Team with complimentary desserts such as cookies, macaron or smaller mini cakes for a real showcase of a dessert table.
Coming back to Asian weddings the cake could be made in vibrant colour variations (rich reds, purples or greens) which teamed with the gold beading would look stunning.
