I put a lot of thought into what makes up your order - quality ingredients bought as locally as possible and organic where possible.
I take animal welfare seriously and support fair trade. All of this may mean a higher price point but it is important to me that the insides of the cake have as much impact as the design.

Aside from fondant coverings, every element of your order is hand made by myself including my own homemade compotes, jams and curds.

It’s important to me that I avoid artificial products in my diet and I uphold this philosophy in my baking for you.

Allergy and intolerance

I can cater for some allergens and intolerances though not all. Advice on allergens is available and is provided with each order. Please get in touch if you have any specific concerns. Further detailed advice is contained in terms and conditions.

I don’t carry a permanent vegan range as there are many great suppliers who already specialise but do get in touch and I can create most flavours as a vegan version.

I use a very high quality fondant from Massa Ticino to cover all cakes. Details below.
Ingredients: Sugar, glucose syrup, water, hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm kernel), gelling agent: tragacanth, vegetable oil (sunflower), humectant: glycerol, acid: citric acid, preservative: sorbic acid, vanillin.
Allergy advice: May contain nuts and soy. (made in kitchen using these products)
Label claims: Suitable for Vegetarians. Vegan. Halal, Kosher, Azo Free.

Wedding samples are available for a cost of £50 for 6 flavours.
In busy periods I may ship samples in larger batch runs once or twice a month,

Cake Menu

Following are a selection of my most popular flavours
but I can make to request if there is something you have in mind.

Buttercream is Swiss or French meringue, both are a less sweet and very light buttercream compared to traditional English or American. All fondant iced cakes are first covered in white or dark chocolate ganache. Availability may vary from season to season.

SINGLE ORIGIN 70% DARK CHOCOLATE
with either - sea salt caramel / hazelnut praline / Kirsch cherries or home made blackcurrant compote.
Allergens - gluten/cereal/wheat, eggs, dairy (butter, buttermilk), nuts for praline version, trace alcohol (kirsch cherry)

MATCHA & RASPBERRY
Delicate matcha sponge with homemade raspberry compote and raspberry buttercream.

ALMOND & CLEMENTINE
Almond sponge with homemade clementine curd filing and vanilla buttercream.

VANILLA BEAN & STRAWBERRY
Classic Victoria sponge with a homemade strawberry compote filling and vanilla buttercream.

ITALIAN LEMON & THYME
Lemon/thyme sponge with a home made rich lemon curd filling and vanilla buttercream.

ORANGE, STAR ANISE & CARDAMOM
Moist Persian style orange, cardamom, and star anise sponge with saffron and vanilla buttercream.

PISTACHIO, RASPBERRY & ROSE
Fragrant sponge with home made raspberry/rose compote and pistachio buttercream.

Delicate espresso sponge with rich dark chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.

Moist carrot cake with orange zest, cranberries and toasted coconut

 All items made in a kitchen regularly using all nuts including peanuts, soy, sesame. Some items may not be advisable for a severe allergy.
Trace lupin, sulphites (some dried fruits where applicable).
